his magical land of narnia is recognized as a mixture of many classical stories. it was published in 1950; 10 years after the movie, the wizard of oz, from which i'm sure he cherry picked segments.
in narnia, aslan, the lion's decoded identity is supposed to be jesus. a lion? what does he do for lunch? eat his audience?
anyway in oz, i believe the wizard is jesus. dorothy leaves oz, eden returning to kansas of her own free will. seems that eden is not that great.
lewis' wardrobe as entry to a magical land is every child's fantasy. going into a closet, or wardrobe, or the cabinet under the sink is a magical land all kids know.
how about, tom joad, in, the grapes of wrath as jesus.
or, alice, in alice in wonderland. she is resurrected at the end from her adventure.
sorry, lewis fans i'm not impressed.
