179TH AND VYSE, BRONX, NY (PART XXXI): LIFE BEFORE DEATH IN (ugh) NEW JERSEY

(continued)

the day fdr died i was on a bryant avenue lot between 178th and 179th observing the cleanup of an old building by a group, many of which i was acquainted with.  i recall a neighborhood kid called "scully" running down the street yelling, "he's finally dead".  the rejoicing of someone at the ultimate bottom of the socio-economic-intellrctual heap.  i suppose he didn't want his family welfare payments to be in some big govt. plan.  no socialists in his family.

some of the people at the building site were helping to run small arms and stuff to support israeli people from the bastards.  as you know or should know, which you don't, the arabs, germanbastards and nazis (and as you don't know) were in bed together killing our guys (your fathers and uncles), so it certainly was not immoral from a patriotic american point of view but if you are a left or right wingnut your viewpoint being twisted may not agree.
