PAUL RYAN DOES NOT REMEMBER IRELAND

sorry, if i just don't understand republicans of irish descent; paul ryan, pat buchanan, ronald reagan, etc.  doesn't their family history show that their starving ancestors left ireland because they were starving and had no opportunity to improve themselves.  shouldn't this make them more sympathetic to the poor and less sympathetic to arrogant commercial powers.   its odd???????????????????????
