watching duke get blown out near midnite last night was a pleasurable experience until i recalled similar blowouts in the 1950, and 1951 basketball college seasons. kentucky, liu, and my beloved ccny (and i'm sure others) were shaving points and dumping games providing bizarre scores and results.
duke is one of the best college basketball organizations. arizona is a good team but not as good as they seemed to be last night. coach K, can only do his best.

yes, i believe (one way or another) the fix is always in. at my installation one of the people told me that she was disturbed because she was promoted only because an officer used his influence for her. my advice was, "the fix is always in. this time its in for you. take it.". of course, she did.
