birth certificates are getting really important.  i would recommend everyone carry an official copy with raised seal with them at all times or deportation might occur.  people with surnames ending in a vowel are particularly suspect.  for example names like: obama, dimaggio, rizzuto, kryzewski, nagurski, mikulski, landrieu, etc.  anyone whose skin shade is a little off white should also be on alert like john boehner, alex rodriguez, bobby jindal, etc.  also anyone with bizzare political views like mitt romney should have his papers available.  i would like to see them too.

MENTAL HEALTH

way back in 1970 i went through a period of depression thanks to some prescribed pills (thanks doc).  in the state i was in i became hopelessly despairing by the scientific fact (republicans - you can take notes for science class) that the sun will go out after going supernova and burning everything to a crisp in a fraction of a second.  all things and purposes were of no consequence.  all would be lost.

of course now that i am clear headed and rational and i can see that through technological advancements we can all walk through a portal to a better world and life in another dimension or galaxy or something.  we will enter the EMERALD CITY, all multi-billions of us and sing and dance, yea. 

you see how important mental health is?

i know my followers are really anxious to kmow what i've been doing with my valuable (150 year old) time. so, i'll tell you about all the world changing activities that i'm involved with.

a. continuing (and progressing ) on my 2000 piece jigsaw puzzle.  completion date now scheduled for spring 2013.

b. assembling a mini-hobby-greenhouse.  will have to build shelving and flooring before using it.  estimated completion in six weeks.

c. built another 4'x9" plant box.

d. attending to my plants and seedlings.

e. assembling (when i pass by it - on occasion) a large doll house.

f. do lawn chores and house maintenance only when absolutely necessary.

g. routine shopping, library, and banking trips.  this includes stops at home depot for supplies: lumber, nails, screws, paint, tools and gardening supplies, etc. (NOTE TO HOME DEPOT: TIPS ACCEPTED HERE.).

h.  visiting my doctors because they need the money.  i hope they're not offended as i disregard their instructions.  y'know they're not as smart as they think.

i. audio books, tv  (omiting political sleazes if possible), and naps fill in the slack time.

yes, i know this is more than you wanted to know.  tough!

PERFECT MEMORY

outside of you (of course ---- you are so great.) no one has total recall or perfect memory.  my alleged perfect memory can be better described as fuzzy-perfect memory.  exact statements and memory depictions are (probably) not certain ( my wife is an exception to all memory speculations - she is perfect).

clearly recalling perhaps an event that occurred 60 years ago contains (maybe) two visions:  scene A, and scene G. - tableaus - the intervening steps (b, c, d, e, and f) can easily be filled in with the forgotten narrative by me because i know myself (of course -- heh,heh).  but it is without a doubt that everyone else is all messsed up and it makes no sense even listening to their story.  pipe dreams and old wives tales (or engineer's tales) ultimately are nonsense.  on the upside it can be entertaining.

i can't exactly recall yesterday but events that happenned during high school or college days are as clear and real as a desert oasis when you are dying of thirst in death valley.

MARVELOUS MARIGOLDS

since our weather has been changed by the corporate interests, flowering plants are fecund and productive until after thanksgiving in the wash. dc area.  taking advantage of these conditions i planted marigold seed on saturday with the expectation that there will be fresh, vigorous  flowers in october.  they're already coming up and stretching their first leaves.

marigolds are gorgeous, vital and bursting with life.  "oh", they say, "those are just common marigolds".  sure they are but they sure beat half alive orchids or other (ugh) delicate plants.  give me the vigorous, life enhancing plants like petunias, begonias, and of course MARIGOLDS; yea.  keep your decadent plants.
