how incompetent is the defense dept.? after 30+ years as a defense dept. employee among a variety of self proclaimed geniuses i can tell you, "plenty".

as of yesterday the management and employees cannot assign responsibility for live anthrax samples having been sent to various places.

only a few in defense establishments have ability and try to do the right thing.

as they say, "its like shoveling shit against the tide".
