THE END OF MUSIC

yes, it was the end of music on feb. 3, 1959. buddy holly and ritchie valens died in an airplane crash. we've been going down hill ever since.

from single stringed instruments to the so called classics, opera, and other decadent and boring types of music we ascended to the heights with great music rising up from the turn of the 20th century until the end in 1959. our culture and our music has been going down the toilet ever since.

of course there is always country and western music which hasn't changed as long as i've been alive. gene autry and roy rogers could very well be modern songsters of this era. boring and depressing from start to finish. still back in the saddle.

TALIBAN DETAINEES NOT GIVEN JOBS

when wwii ended large numbers of nazis were given good jobs in the united states. why were these obviously talented taliban detainees sent out of the country. it appears that the united states does not have an even handed policy. wernher von braun was responsible for the indiscriminate bombing of london with his rockets. if that wasn't terrorism i dont know what is.

WHAT I LEARNED FROM REPUBLICANS

healthcare makes people sick.

oil spills improve the environment. the strongest of the creatures survive.

cheesecake is a vegetable.

giving out free school lunches destroys ambition.

lowering taxes on the rich enhaces yacht production and creates jobs.

praying several times a day relieves hunger pangs.
